U10 Bombers Compete In Tournament At NEBC Over Easter Weekend

The U10 Bombers took the field for the second time this season. The team was scheduled for three games Saturday April 15th. The team took losses in each of its first two games in pool play against the eventual champions and runner-ups. Determined to get that elusive first win, the Bombers came out strong in game three putting up 7 runs in the first five innings. They would hold on in the sixth with the tying run on deck to preserve a 7 to 5 win. Despite going one and two on the day, the team is showing many promising signs. The pitching staff is deep and can throw multiple power arms at it's opponents. As this team learns to play together, there should be many more wins to come.
