2016 Cooperstown Trip

The U12 Beantown Bombers leave today for the teams annual trip to Cooperstown. For many on this team, it is the end of a 4 year run together. The team has played at the highest level of competition New England has to offer. In 2014, the team finished second in the AAU Super Division. In 2015, the team played in the AAU Diamond Division earning a trip to the final four. This year the team played in the Elite Baseball League Division 1, earning big wins against quality teams. All along this U12 group has earned respect for the way they compete game in and game out. This trip is a great way to put a bow on a long spring and summer journey in 2016. This group has been through a lot together just this year alone. The team forged a new path by being the first Bombers team to play in the Elite Baseball League Division 1. They meet that challenge head on gaining great playing experience in the process. From that experience, many of the players went on to play their summer all-star schedules. This year the u12 Bombers had 10 players on the Massachusetts State Little League Champions and three coaches. As an organization, we could not be more proud of the accomplishments of our players and coaches. With the spring and summer in the rear-view, we look forward to a week long celebration in Cooperstown.
