Snow Storm Doesn't Stop U9 and U12 Bombers
The U9 through 12 Bombers were not going to let the April 1st snow storm stop them from playing opening weekend. The U11 Navy Bombers started off the action with a notable win in a game played indoors against last year’s EBL champion Mizuno Notheast. There were many impressive hitting performances, lead by Matthew Hudler who hit one ball that would have likely been out of any outdoor field. The U11s hope to continue this momentum outside with 4 games this weekend.
While the rest of the teams did not hit the win column on opening weekend, nevertheless, it was a great opportunity to knock some rust off. All of our teams played great competition all weekend long. Most notably, the u12s were able to get outdoors for the first time. The early season games are a great benefit to players looking to hit the ground running once the fields open up for good. All age groups are looking forward to another great weekend of action this weekend.
