LOTS OF STANDOUTS FOR U10 AND U11 BOMBERS ON OPENING WEEKEND.....
The U11 and U10 Red Bombers played opening weekend double headers with strong individual efforts. Although, the Bombers have not been able to practice outdoors, the two teams headed down to the Cape for early non-divisional match ups. As expected both teams struggled defensively and offensively in their early match ups. Despite the struggles, what was obvious from the weekend, pitching will be a big strength for the two clubs and the defense and offense will need time to round into shape. For the U10 team both John Condlin and Gavin Gemski turned in dominating performances with tons of swings and misses from the opponent. On the U11s Sam Shukerow, Aidan Moore, Drew Young and Graham Marx showed they are primed for lots of success this year.
The U11 pitchers did not get much help from their defense but Patrick Maxwell was a stand out behind the dish blocking balls in the dirt consistently for the u11s. On the offensive side Cameron Lynch, Patrick Maxwell, John Condlin and Lucca Faggiano turned in strong performances for their teams with multiple hits.
