U11 Bombers Win Mother's Day Madness Tournament
The U11 Bombers take home the belt with a convincing 12 to 6 victory vs. NEB in the Mother's Day Madness tournament in New Hampshire. The weekend was highlight by strong performances throughout the weekend lead by tournament MVP Max Fukudome and finals MVP Teddy Uller. Although those players were recognized over the weekend the entire team contributed to the championship. The Bombers routinely stole bases on their opponents. This continues a year long trend in which the Bombers have stolen well over 200 bases in 20 games. The pitching continued to be outstanding with great performance from their ace, Freddy Alexander, and most consistent pitcher, Lucas Allen. This was combined with great hitting all weekend from Cam Baldwin and Barrett Whitaker. This team is really coming into its own with 6 wins in their last eight games. They look to continue their dominance this weekend with four more league games. This group epitomizes what being a Bombers is all about, hard work, never give up attitude, and having fun while playing the game.
